Kilimanjaro Trekking Important Briefing:

The Rongai Route presents a distinctive and less used option to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, allowing trekkers to experience a diverse range of stunning landscapes, from lush rainforests to barren alpine deserts, all while enjoying captivating views of Kibo and the expansive Kenyan plains. The lower slopes are abundant with wildlife, showcasing colobus monkeys and a variety of bird species, while the quieter trail ensures a peaceful and serene trekking adventure due to the reduced number of trekkers. With its gradual ascent profile, the Rongai Route facilitates proper acclimatization, enhancing the likelihood of reaching the summit. Starting from the northern region near the Kenyan border, this route offers a more secluded and untamed wilderness experience.
