Step 1

Preparation and Travel

Start by conducting some documentary reviews on Kilimanjaro Mountain and related trekking stories and information. Continue preparing essential documents, clothing, trekking gear, a camera with a zoom lens, and medications if applicable. Day One: Arrival

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be greeted by our staff. Then, be transferred to Moshi or Arusha if the trekking is for Mt. Meru, where you will receive a friendly briefing on your trekking. This is also the ideal time to pick up any gear you may not have been able to bring from home. Additionally, your guide will provide valuable tips for acclimatizing to the altitude, allowing you to fully enjoy the adventure that lies ahead.

The Trek Begins

You will need to complete mandatory registration and clearance at the entry gate, and once you have finalized the activity, you can begin your mountain trekking adventure. Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut

Distance is 10 km with an elevation ranging from 1,500 m to 2,514 m and a trekking time of approximately 4 to 6 hours featuring highlights such as wildlife sightings, the stunning Fig Tree Arch, the picturesque Maio Falls, and the breathtaking Kitoto Viewpoint.

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut

Distance is 6 km with an elevation gain from 2,514 m to 3,570 m, requiring approximately 4 to 5 hours of trekking. This journey features stunning highlights such as the breathtaking Elephant’s Back viewpoint, the rewarding experience of crossing the tree line, and the majestic summit of Little Meru.

Day 3: Saddle Hut to Summit and back to Miriakamba Hut

Distance is 18 km as you ascend from 3,570 m to the breathtaking summit of 4,566 m, before descending back to 2,514 m. This challenging trek takes approximately 12 hours, rewarding you with unforgettable highlights such as the stunning sunrise at Socialist Peak and panoramic views of Kilimanjaro.

Day 4: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate

On Day 4, you will embark on a 10 km journey descending from an elevation of 2,514 meters to 1,500 meters, with an estimated trekking time of four to five hours, allowing you to experience the beauty of lush forests and catch your last glimpses of wildlife along the way.
